The student I am choosing to recognize this week has impressed me for 3 years. They are kind, respectful, and responsible. They are friendly to students and staff members, and understand the appropriate way to talk to others in school. They are responsible in the way they focus on their artwork, and help clean up after projects in the art room. They are a student that has always tried their best in art class. They have a good understanding of color. They used two of the Primary Colors for large areas of their sculpture. The bright yellow and red glaze is carefully applied. Their sculpture is well built. The handle on their mug is strong and solid. The dragon or serpent emerging from the mug smiles in a playful way and shows this artist’s sense of humor. Congratulations Weston in Ms. Wheeler's class, Student Artist of the Week!
