The student I am choosing to recognize this week has shared many online art assignments with our Fisher Mitchell Community. They have completed many of my assignments and also shared artworks that they created on their own. The freestyle drawing this student created a few weeks ago was very cool, but I am choosing to recognize them for an assignment they actually made for their classroom teacher. I love that 4th grade students learn about Native Americans, there is a lot to learn from people who live more closely to nature that we do today. One cool project that 4th Grade students do in class is make dioramas. I have seen many good ones over the years, but I really appreciate the lines and colors found in the ocean and the sun in the background, the way the scene is set up, and especially the lighting of the diorama. It looks like maybe they made a small opening in the top of their box to shine a light through onto their scene. The effect is awesome! It almost looks like a scene from a movie! Nice work P.C. in Mrs Soule's 4th Grade Class, Student Artist of the Week!
