February is Children's Dental Health Month and Heart Health Month.  I am sending home some materials with students that will help develop healthy habits to keep their teeth and hearts strong and healthy.  Ask your child about it.

We are seeing positive cases of influenza B at school.  If your child has a fever of 100 or greater, keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.  Other symptoms include sore throat, headache, body aches and some have had stomach issues.

We are working on handwashing, using hand sanitizer when not able to wash hands, cough and sneezes into our sleeves or a tissue, getting plenty of rest, drinking water and eating a healthy diet which includes at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.

We just finished up our Winterkids Wintergames 2020.  The month flew by and lots of outdoor activities.  I think the kids really enjoyed getting outside.
